Invertek Drives Office/ Factory in Welshpool was a new build 5,500-square-metre factory which will allow the business to produce more than 40,000 drives per year. The company designs, manufactures and markets electronic variable frequency drives for controlling electric motors.

Our client Paveaways chose us to carry out this project, based upon recently delivering a similar scheme in the Telford for them. Following this project we have secured a further three projects from this client.

The scheme consistent of partitions, suspended ceilings, dab/dabbing and plastering. We installed all partitions to a full British Gypsum specification and all ceilings to an Armstrong Ceilings specification.

To the office area we installed partitions and plastering to a mixture of high and low level walls, using mobile towers and scissor lifts. These partitions formed the new office areas, once these walls were formed we carried out the plastering and installed new suspended ceilings. To the factory area we installed one ceiling which was over 2000m2 which consisted of Armstrong Dune ceiling tile on 24mm grid.
