The Met consisted on 211 bed student accommodation in the centre of Newcastle Under Lyme. We carried out the SFS framework , Brick tie channels, metal stud partitions, drylining, suspended ceilings and plastering..
The scheme consisted of constructing external walls, partitions and ceilings to form 211 individual suites over 10 storeys.
We worked closely with the architect and main contractor to ensure we achieved all acoustic and fire ratings on the walls and ceilings whilst offering the most cost effective solution.
We were awarded this scheme based upon the successful delivery of another similar sized student accommodation for Cruden’s the previous year in Nottingham and our expert knowledge demonstrated throughout the tender period.
