Crane Court in Huddersfield is a Student Accommodation in the heart of Huddersfield, located near the University of Huddersfield. This development consisted of 425 Bedroom spread across 2 blocks and 10 storeys.
V & D Interiors carried out the installation of the drylining, partitioning, suspended ceilings and Tape and Jointing.
This scheme required over 85,000 m2 of plasterboard so planning material movement was a key to the projects success. One of the solutions we used to overcome this large amount of material movement was to preload the floors prior to constructing the walls. We marked out where the partitions were being installed then loaded the pallets of plasterboard directly into the rooms ready for first fix.
